Selected Installer
HelioPower has installed systems in the San Diego area for almost a decade. Founded in San Diego in 2001, HelioPower has a strong customer base and a reputation for quality in the area. They actively participate in area events including Green Build San Diego, Western Days, the Avocado Festival, Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, as well as various Earth Day events. Tyler Michael, one of the local San Diego sales reps, is the trusted resource for CCSE when referring utility customers to an expert on the complex NSHP program. HelioPower is also proud of the fact that they’ve installed almost a dozen utility projects specifically for SDGE. They are very familiar with interconnection and permit requirements and have processed hundreds of solar rebates in San Diego. HelioPower was also selected for the first 1BOG campaign in San Diego.
Solar Products in the Campaign
Panels: HelioPower is offering two different panels for this campaign: one by CSI and a higher efficiency one by SunPower. We have details on pricing and adder lists on our Campaign Costs page.
Monitoring: Installations will include, at no additional cost to 1BOG members, an SMA monitoring system. HelioPower promises to respond to customer calls or an alert by the monitoring system within one business day.
Inverters: Installations will include SMA inverters, the most popular units on the marketplace with a reputation for reliability.
Coverage Area
Here’s the map of the coverage area, if you’re located within the blue outline, you’re included in the program.
If you’re outside the area, that shouldn’t stop you from signing up. If we get enough sign ups in a particular area we could renegotiate inclusion or run a separate group purchase.
